Top 20 Culinary Destinations in the Garden Route

Chef Dylan Heydra has taken over House of Flavour, one of the award winning top 20 culinary destinations in the Garden Route. Dylan was trained by Chef Francois and Chef Carol from the Francois Ferreira Academy. He was fortunate enough to be selected to do his mentorship training under the very famous Peter Goffe-Wood Food Alchemist where his passion for preparing food was flamed.

Food and Wine Pairing Evening at House of Flavour in George

Dylan with the help of Dean Bosman our resident young Sommelier has prepared the first Food and Wine Pairing evening at House of Flavour in George which will be accompanied by Baroque music sung by our very own Dave Redelinghuys and Lida de Villiers a well-known soprano and pianist who needs no introduction to locals. She has numerous awards from the George Music Society.

Guests can look forward to a taste sensation with the menu for the first Food and Wine Pairing evening at House of Flavour.

• Grilled Asparagus wrapped in Parma Ham top with a soft poached egg and hollandaise sauce

• Prawn Avocado Ritz
- Fat Bastard Chardonnay

• Duck Breast served with honey glazed pearl onions, pea and mint puree and a Madeira sauce

• Valrhona Chocolate Pot with a mixed berry coulis and citrus biscotti crumble
- Jakkalsvlei Private Cellar La Perle Rose Petilant
