The Utopia Village is located on route to Herold's Bay near George in the Garden Route of South Africa. This Guest Farm offers self catering accommodation in a forest like setting! The George Airport, Oubaai Golf Estate and the popular Herold's Bay beach are all within a 4km radius from Utopia. The George city centre is a mere 14km from Utopia.

Herold's Bay Accommodation

Accommodation the popular Herold's Bay Utopia Village is available in five log cabins. Each cabin is individual decorated, furnished and equipped to ensure a care free and memorable stay. All you need to bring a long is your clothes, food and loved ones!

Herold's Bay Self Catering Accommodation

The Geelhout and Swarthout Self Catering Cabins are situated next to each other overlooking the Herold's Bay valley and ocean in the distance. The en-suite bedroom and open plan lounge/ kitchen area are all facing the valley and ocean in the distance. A double sleeper couch in the lounge offers addition accommodation ideal for children.
The Loerie, Hadida and Fisant cottages consist of a bedroom with double bed, bathroom with shower, small open plan kitchen/ lounge area with sleeper couch and a deck area outside from where you can enjoy the surroundings.

Wildlife at The Utopia Village

Semi tame wildlife including; Eland, Springbuck & Bontebok roam freely at the Utopia Village. The Niguni Cattle is also a site to see with their multi-coloured hides and per-like behaviour. Utopia also farm with Emus and visit with these strange birds is an experience on its own. The farm also offers various walking trails.

Garden Route Wedding Venue

Adding to the romantic atmosphere the Utopia Village is also home to a lovely little chapel where many couples have already pledged their love to each other. The fully equipped function venue on the property is the ideal wedding venue. Over the years Utopia has become one of the most popular wedding venues in the Garden Route.
