This festival in George is a significant growing annual event that rejoices the spring time in the country and has something on offer for all ages.

Stalls and entertainment at the Strawberry Festival

There will be a wide variety of stalls exhibiting good food, local wines and cheeses, fresh veggies, herbs and arts and crafts. The entertainment at the Strawberry Festival will keep both young and old busy ranges from the beer tent with a live band performing , to the exciting miniature steam train, the “strawberry express” and ‘bubble balls’ on the dam. Pony rides, strawberry picking, strawberry eating competitions, zorbing, paint ball target shooting, jumping castles, tractor rides and more will add to 2 full days of family fun!

The Festival will open at 11h00 and close at 20h00 on Friday 23rd September 2011 and will open at 09h00 and close at 17h00 on Saturday 24th September 2011.
